Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Chennai has been issued a notification for filling up various post 2461 posts in specified categories of Southern Railway. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 25-09-2012.More details are given below:

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must not be less than 18 years and must not be more than 33 years. as on 01-01-2013.
Note -(Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be passed outs in 10th standard or must possess ITI or equivalent.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 40/-. SC/ST/EXSM/PWD/Women/Minority candidates/Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of fee. Fee must be in form of Demand Draft / Pay Order from any Nationalized Bank, or crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of “Assistant Personnel Officer(Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway” payable at Chennai.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by Medical Examination.
